Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
