The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
